Hey there, Spider-fans... it has recently come to to my attention that I have been letting one section of this website largely pass me (and therefore you lot) by without updating it much, if at all... Yes indeed - the lowly 'Backdrops' section used to be seriously lacking in backdrops ! Not only that, but this morning I removed the rather lonely only one that was there too !

 

Fortunately, 2007 has arrived, and with it, the chance to look back at the assorted photos of spiders I took last year, and I have recently found some time to go through, find the good ones, and do something with them ! So I am pleased to announce the first arrival on the spider diaries of some 'Spider art' !

 

Here we find a series of 8 pictures, all black and white, with a full colour spider in there somewhere. I have done one for each genus I look after. Hopefully you will find that they make very good backdrops... all are available at 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024 resolutions, so it's as simple as click the version you need, which will open in a new window - right-click that, and choose either 'set as desktop', or save the file to your PC manually, and load it as a desktop later.
