From the same people that brought you 'Pooing with Avicularia', we're back with 'mud slinging with Psalmopoeus'... Yes indeed, I was lucky enough to catch the rarest of daylight adventures by this normally supremely shy and retiring spider. But I'm glad I did, so I can share with you the remarkable and, dare I say, cavalier approach she takes to removing leftover prey remains from her bamboo tube burrow... Amazing. And who'd have thought she choose to carry all that in her fangs before using her pedipalps to propel it to the the other side of the tank? I particularly love the way she 'rubs her hands' together afterwards, rather like we humans would when doing the same sort of thing ! Clever girl...
