| Here you will find details of any spiders in my collection that are fully mature and looking for some quality spider love action.
I am happy to participate in any sort of arrangement which would allow my spiders the chance to breed, whether its a 50/50 swap of animals, or even the loan of mature males. I have very little spider breeding experience myself, but this is an area I would like to explore so if anybody reading has suitable animals now or in the future, please do get in contact, and we can discuss things further. Unfortunately, concerned as I am for the safety and comfort and non-stress of the animals I look after, I must explain that I am not willing to send adult spiders anywhere in the post, as this can only be an extremely stressful experience for them, and I have seen so much evidence that the postal service in the UK take almost zero care in the handling of parcels, whether they know they contain live animals or not, that I am not willing to subject any of my spiders to this abuse. The ony exception to this rule is spiderlings, which, if packed properly, seem to cope very well, and do not, in my experience, arrive massively stressed. However, their breeding needs are important to me, so I am willing to personally drive them to whatever location may be required, assuming it is in the same country (the UK, obviously). Obviously I am very interested in working with keepers who don't live an unreasonable distance from Hampshire, and might be willing to drive half way to meet me. |
