Hi there everyone...

It's Binky's 8th birthday ! 

You may remember I sent you a pic of Binky looking rough and ready yesterday, and I said I thought she was about to moult ? Well - 6 hours later, she did... not, helpfully at a time when there was any light around with which to take the photos, but there you go - we'll have to make do with these 'straight after' shots...

Look at her back end now ! Compare her opisthosoma to the pic yesterday.

Notice - its now covered in bright pink hairs over a velvety smooth fur underneath - no scrappyness etc, but its alot smaller now, at least until she starts guzzling crickets again.... about a day or 2 to go before her fangs have hardened enough, I reckon...

So, she made it through ok, you'll all be pleased to know, and I'm off to get her a new tank to move into tomorrow...
